The essence of fragrance does not disturb others: "The most exquisite quality of fragrance is that it does not intrude into the world of those who enjoy its beauty."

Jianzong believes that an excellent fragrance should exist in space as if it is both present and absent, calming the hearts of people. Any overpowering scent that lingers in the nostrils does not express the noblest quality of fragrance itself.

Fragrance can treat pre-illness but should not be used for illness; it adjusts one's temperament and affects one's Qi, originating from a different source than medicine.

"Fragrance can treat 'pre-illness,' meaning it can address states that are not yet ill, but it cannot cure diseases. It can heal the temperament of a person and regulate their Qi. Fragrance and medicine should not be used in the same way."

Jianzong uses fragrance to calm people's hearts, guiding every user to become their best selves in terms of their existence, while refusing to use it indiscriminately as a remedy like traditional Chinese medicine.
